Cleaning Out The Garage

On Saturday, the boys decided to clean out the garage.

Before...they pulled EVERYTHING out of the garage (it was like a maze)!

After...it looks so much better!

On Wednesday, Dan and Becky came over to take our Easter pictures. We kept saying that we would do it on Christmas...then St. Valentine's day...then St. Patrick's day...then Easter came and we finally decided to just do it.

Here is our family Easter photo!

Here are the kids' photos:

On Wednesday, we went to Bozeman for Tilly's check-up appointment with the mid-wife. We thought that Dad was going to come with us, but he said that he had to work that day. So my Mom had to take all five (!) of us to Bozeman all by herself!! It was a challenge, because the boys DREAD shopping. We usually "park them in front of the TV" as my Mom calls it, at Costco, while the girls go shopping. And then we pick them up afterwards. But when we were at Walmart, they asked if we could drop them off in the video game/lego section while we did our shopping. My Mom said no, because there is a $50 window to get into Costco (my Dad calls it our "Country Club" ;) and Walmart is a public place (if you know what I mean)....;)

Fiona and Preston beg to get a free cookie in the bakery section!

Mom loves to get the $1 dollar french bread to make Caramel French Toast (my favorite!).

Bennett hates broccoli!!

About half way through an aisle, Fiona starts to do the "dance". So my Mom asks me I can take her to the bathroom. She is so entertained by the pull-down chair while you are "waiting". ;)

When we come back, we find Mom and the boys in the pop aisle (we only buy it when guests come). Bennett and Preston LOVE Mountain Dew!!

We finally decide on peach.

Coffee creamer......so many options!

Sniffing the dryer sheets for just the right one!

Darla, the girl in Finding Nemo with braces who taps on the glass with all the "little fishies" ;).

We call Dad to find out what chicken food to get. Bennett has to carry it to the cart.

Checking out....my Mom sends each of us to see what aisle has the least people!

Tilly's check-up with Mikelann the mid-wife, for her last appointment....she is now 14 pounds!!

We also had to go pick up Tilly's birth certificate at the Courthouse.  Mom tells us to put on our "inside voices".....;)

Matilda dosen't care if she gets her Birth Certificate or not!

We're done!

We had a wonderful Easter Dinner at our friends, the Burke's house with all their family. My friends, Emma and Libby introduced me to their new horse, Jasmine. I rode Maggie, their mule. We also played dress-up with some dresses and jewlery that their Grandma gave to them. It was a lot of fun!!

The New Rooster

This is the time of the year that we usually buy our baby chicks from Murdochs. My Dad went online and started to look for female chicks. But they are $3.00 each, so my Dad thought it would be cool if we could get a rooster and Grace (our chicken made out of steel) together, so we didn't have to buy chicks. Our friends, the Burke's said that they had a rooster we could borrow. So on Saturday, they gave us the rooster named Henry Kissinger to try out. When Henry met Grace it was love at first sight!

On Saturday morning, my Dad and I got up at 5:30am and went to Kellem's Saddlery Shop because there was a 40% off sale and I had a gift certificate that I got for my birthday last year. I found a really cute pink flowered silk scarf and it was 40% off!

Matilda likes it too!

The First Signs of Spring!!!!

We think that Spring is finally here! The sun is out, the birds are chirping and is it getting a little warmer. Hopefully it will be sunny and not snowing on Easter!!  And, our chicken made out of steel, is laying eggs again! Fiona loves to go and get them.

The Western Meadowlarks love to sing when the sun is out!

We got Tulips (my Moms favorite!) from some friends of ours yesterday!

We also saw an Eagle on the rocks by the river and then it flew to a tree:

The first fishermen of the year!
