LEGO LAND!!!!

On Christmas, Grammie and Poppie surprised us with tickets to Lego Land. We were so excited when we got to go on January 12th!! We went with Auntie Em, Uncle Mark, Lincoln and Olivia and stayed at their house the night before so that we were closer to Orlando. We were all really excited when we got there, but the boys were SUPER EXCITED!! There were so many roller coasters and rides....it was like Disney World, but with Legos. One of my favorite parts was when we got to ride little go carts around an obstacle course with stop lights, stop signs and a "highway". It was so fun because I love to drive!!

LEGO LAND!!!!

Preston, Bennett, Fiona and Lincoln posing with a Lego Dinosaur. :)

They had a Lego Big Shop where you could buy souvenirs (the boys bought Lego key chains, but who knows where they are now!). :)

This Lego Factory showed you how Legos are made...

...the boys were very interested. :)

Bennett almost fainted when he saw how many Legos were in these bins!

We went on this ride where a big arm lifted you up so you could sight-see Legoland.

This is the big arm:

Tilly loved it!

I am really afraid of heights, so I was hanging onto Bennett the whole time...:)

Bennett and Darth Vader...."I am your Father". :)

Bennett and R2-D2.

All the little kids loved this merry-go-round!

Uncle Mark and Lincoln.

Once you walk under this castle, you are in the land of Roller Coasters!!

Bennett and Preston walking through the castle.

Dad and Fiona sat in front of me on our first Roller Coaster ride.

This ride was for younger kids like Fiona, but we rode it anyway. :)

Fiona and me.

The Royal Joust is where you ride a "horse" on a track and "joust" Lego people. =)

I rode this horse, but I was so squished I could barely move!

 Bennett, riding his "horse".

Lincoln loved this ride!

 Fiona and her horse.

The kids played on this playground for a few minutes.

The Land of Adventure had a building just for a Roller Coaster that took you to different rooms. On the Roller Coaster, there was a pretend gun that you used to shoot red dots around the room. It was really fun...my Dad got the highest score!!

This ride took you up and then dropped you straight towards the ground and then stopped. It was so fun!

Lincoln and me.

This was another fun course (it was all fun!) where you drive your own boat, but you end up getting caught in a traffic jam, as seen in the picture below...:)

Fiona drove this car in the junior driving course.

Dad, Matilda and Fiona posed by this Red Lego Car (Ford Explorer)....the whole thing is made out of Legos!!

Probably one of my favorite rides at Lego Land....driving a go-cart (that didn't even fit me) around a "highway".

Bennett and his go-cart.

Albert Einstein, Preston and Bennett. :)

On this ride, you pulled yourself up (the boys and I raced to the top) and then when you let go of the rope, it dropped you down slowly.

Fiona and the Southern Belle.

The Southern Belle and me.

This was my favorite roller coaster....Project X. It took you straight up and then shot you straight down...the boys put their arms up and I tried, but I chickened out. :)

The Lego pond:

Bennett has read a lot about "Miniland" so he told us a little bit about each section.

Each section of Miniland has different big cities or major points in America.

The Mirage Hotel:

Excalibur:

Daytona 500, made out of Legos.

The Victory Lane.

The Pit Stop!

NASA:

I think this was Tampa Bay, FL.

Panama City Beach:

This is the fort in St. Augustine...we visited the fort while we were in Florida.
