On December 26th, we drove up to Mammoth to go ice skating behind the hotel. They freeze a pond every winter for their guests and they also let locals ice skate too. It is pretty small compared to Cutler Lake, but big enough to fit our family! :) After skating, we drove back down to the Mammoth school to go sledding. They have this one hill that is really steep and Bennett and I usually tend to go on that one. By the time we are done, we usually are spitting snow out of our mouths and I end up with icicle dreadlocks. :) Wiping out is fun but sometimes it hurts!
The warming hut is where they have skates of all different sizes (boys and girls) and outside they have classic music playing while you skate!

I found a really long icicle hanging off of the warming hut!

On December 29th, we went to the 4H sledding party in Jardine. There is a perfect sledding hill there and some people even brought snow mobiles! Mr. Long jumped off of a hill that we were sledding on with the snow mobile and almost crashed!
Emma, Libby, Dani and I went on an inner tube and if we were on a highway we would've gotten pulled over, that's how fast we were going!

On New Year's Eve, we took Grammie and Poppie to Cutler Lake and they watched us ice skate. Our feet were pretty cold since the ice skates have a little over 0 insulation...
