Getting Ready For Christmas!

When we got back from our Christmas Tree hunting, we found the stand and hoisted the tree up. Then we put on the lights and ornaments. We put on millions of ornaments! Then we put up our stockings on the mantel and Dad put the lights on the house and we also put Christmas lawn ornaments in the yard. We had fun decorating everything in the house! :)

Our Christmas Tree Adventure

Grammie and Poppie's favorite place to go for Christmas Trees is Severt's because a guy named Billy brings all his trees from North Carolina down to Orange Park to sell them.  Billy goes to Grammie and Poppie's church while he is here in Florida. So we all went down to Severt's to pick out a Christmas Tree. We didn't find one that we liked, so Grammie explained to him what we were looking for. He went to the back and brought one back that was still in the wrapping. He unwrapped it and it was perfect! It was tall and big and there were no gaps. So we chose that one and we love it!!

The Sellers Visit!

A couple of days after we got to Florida, Aunt Carrie, Uncle Jeff and their daughter Charlotte came over to Grammie and Poppie's house to visit. It was the first time we've met Charlotte, so everybody was new to her and she was new to us! She is so cute! She is going to be 2 next March. Charlotte and Tilly were staring at each other the first 10 minutes until Charlotte finally went up to Tilly and started to touch her face. It was so cute! :)

Finally...Florida!!!!

On December 5th, we were finally arrived in Florida. When we got to Grammie and Poppie's house, we were so excited that I got down and my hands and knees in the yard and started to pet the grass! :) It felt so good to finally be in Florida...or as our GPS would say, "You have reached your destination". We are also glad to be in the warm weather! It has been in the 60's and 70's every day and sometimes in the 80's, but it has gotten cooler at night. It is so fun to see all of our relatives, too. We are going to have a busy Christmas with all those cousins!! :)
