Creation Museum!!

On December 1st, we left Indianapolis. :( On our way down south, we went to the Creation Museum in Petersburg, KY. The day we left Gardiner in November, we stopped by one of our friends house, because she said they had 4 passes to the Creation Museum. So we only had to pay for one child when we got to the museum! It was so fun!! The only downside about it was that my camera ran out of battery when we were halfway through the museum!!!! :( But I did get a few pictures....:)

Leaving Indianapolis. :'(

Wil waved goodbye from his bedroom window! :)

The Creation Museum!

The entrance before you get to the museum. :)

Planetarium Projector:

Mary, Joseph and baby Jesus statue.

Fiona and I in front of the statue.

They had a cafe inside.

The dinosaur section:

They had a little pond with fishes in it. :)

We went into the bookstore that they had inside the museum. It was so cool!

I got a t-shirt from their souvenir section. :)

Beginning the museum tour:

Finches in an enclosure:

Poison Dart Frogs.....also in an enclosure. :) We learned that if you just touch them, you will die. If you go to  Africa, don't touch Poison Dart Frogs!!

This was a real dinosaur fossil that you could feel/touch. It was really cool!

A fake paleontology site.

This museum was unique because it looked at history in a different way...straight from the bible!

They had these signs that represent our fallen world:

Life like robots of Elijah, Moses and Paul from the Bible.

Paul, the Apostle; Dad's favorite person in the Bible.

When Preston saw this, he said, "Why is Martin Luther nailing in screws?".  When we looked closer, it was true....the 95 thesis were held up by screws! =)

This was a room that represented sin:

We had such a good time!! My favorite part of the museum was the huge exhibit of Adam and Eve. But my camera died right before that exhibit! :(
