Arriving in Memphis!

We left Florida on January 25th and started to make our way to Aunt Jill and Uncle Jeff's house in Memphis, TN. On our first night, we spent the night in a Walmart parking lot in Montgomery, AL. :) We didn't get much sleep that night, because there was a street sweeper that swept the parking lot at 2a.m! Mom made me wash my face and brush my teeth in the Walmart bathroom (!) and it was VERY embarrassing! The good thing was she didn't tell me to get changed in there!! :)

Demolition begins...tearing down the wallpaper in the 1/2 bath.

The first week we got here, Aunt Jill took us to Shelby Farms, which is one of America's largest urban parks. There are lots of things to do there: fishing or walking around the lake, playing on the playground or taking your dog or horse to their dedicated parks for animals. This is the big metal slide at the playground (it is very popular!).
