Dutch Oven Dinner!!

A couple of days after we arrived in Memphis, Uncle Jeff made us beef stroganoff in his new Dutch Oven that his parents got him for Christmas. It was really good, but it took a while! Bennett always finds something in his food if it's made outside...sure enough he found a rock in his!

The boys stood outside and waited for the stroganoff to cook...

He made biscuits to go with dinner....they were amazing!!

Uncle Jeff pulled out his "bull head" and he stuck in on a hay bale....we had fun lassoing the bull while dinner was cooking!

Notice Preston playing with the fire that he made with dead leaves...:)

There was a really pretty sunset that night.

Almost ready!

These are their raised garden beds.

All the boys waiting anxiously for dinner to be done!

We heated the coals in this metal container.

The boys with the homemade fire...

Yummy!

It was so good! Thanks Uncle Jeff!
