Homeward Bound...

On May 21st, we started to make our way home. We left Indianapolis on Monday morning and drove all day to get to Baraboo Hills Campground in Baraboo, Wisconsin. Halfway through the day, we stopped at a visitors center/store in Wisconsin and we bought real Wisconsin cheese curds there. We brought them back to the RV, and they were soo good!! Once we got to the campground in Wisconsin, Dad bought us all wristbands that let you jump on a HUGE pillow, ride go-carts/bikes, play putt-putt golf and swim in the pool if it wasn't too cold, which it was. We bought shower tokens, so that it wouldn't smell like a pig sty in the RV. :) It was a fun campground!

Mom, Tilly and Fiona eating Wisconsin cheese curds in the RV.

Riding the pedal bikes at Baraboo Hills Campground!

We played putt-putt golf right before the sun went down!

We stopped at the grocery store in Baraboo before we drove to the campground and bought canned soups! Dad chopped wood with his Leatherman and we built a fire in the pit. We set the cans in the fire and BAM~~insta-food! :)

Cooking them in the fire....

**Notice Dad is using pliers to get our food out of the firepit!** :)

Preston, eating his chili...

Bennett ate the whole can of his Chicken n' Dumplings!!

Tilly loved hers, too!

Dad and his chili!

Finally...wifi!! I tried to work on my blog but was too tired, so I just checked my email. :)

Eating cereal the next morning....which will get us about 10 miles at the max before someone says they are hungry! :)

Goodbye greenery! ;)

We rode the pedal bikes one last time...

The office...it is family owned.

I took Tilly for a walk before being strapped in for hours on end. We walked up the driveway and took pictures. :)

One last ride....

We crossed over the Mississippi River in Minnesota. :)

We went to the Mall of America in Minneapolis, MN. IT WAS SO FUN!!!

The HUGE mall.

After driving through the "cars only" parking lot and maneuvering through all the Prius' and Slugbugs, we found a parking lot saved just for Trucks and RVs. HAHA! Preston found this huge semi and license plate in the parking lot!

Walking in...

Riding up the escalator.

The amusements...

Aeropostale...it was huge!!

There was a huge crystal chandelier in the mall.

The boys favorite spot in the whole mall (5 stories high!!): the LEGO store.

So many to choose from!!

The great wall of LEGOS!

Going into the Rainforest Cafe.

Look at Tilly's mouth....wide open!

Fiona wanted to go into the American Girl store, so we walked in and showed her....she was in heaven!!

This doll was named Emma! :)

We walked by a store that caught our eye...TILLY's!!

The Sundancer, parked in a big city (if you multiplied Gardiner's population (800) by approx. 484 you would get a population of Minneapolis)!

We walked around in IKEA, our favorite big-city store which was right across the street from the Mall!!

We only go to IKEA about every 1-2 years when we go to Seattle for a visit. Our favorite meatballs on the planet...SWEDISH!! (We happened to be there on a Tuesday night...KIDS EAT FREE!!)

Mom and I walked through the store in about 10 minutes and met Dad at the checkout. We of course had to buy some of their Swedish Fish! :)

We spent that night somewhere in Minnesota at a Walmart of course. :)

Wednesday night....we were driving along when we saw a campground sign just when we needed it...Matilda was screaming, the little kids were fighting and it was a LONG day of driving. We pulled into sight number 3 at the Buffalo Gap Campground by Medora, ND. It was such an awesome campground and we'd recommend it to anyone who is passing through there!!

Pulling off the Interstate to Exit 18.

We were the only ones there besides the hosts!!

We took a walk around the campground and hiked a trail to stretch our legs out after a long day of driving!

We walked up this hill and Fiona led...

Picture time!

There was a gorgeous sunset that evening!!

Walking back to the Sundancer for a good night's sleep.

Our campsite:

Tilly loved being out of her carseat!

Personal Hygiene before bed...:)

Dad saw how Bennett brushed his teeth (in about 3 second flat) and showed him how it is really done!

The next day we drove until we reached Glendive, Montana where we toured the Dinosaur Museum. We've heard a lot about it, so we thought we'd drop by. The whole museum is interpreted from a Biblical perspective. :)

Tools archaeologists use to dig up dinosaurs.

This bible is all brail!

I bought a Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 7.0 in Billings with some of my baby-sitting money I earned on the trip! It is sooo cool!!
