On Thursday, I got my haircut by a lady in town. I wanted it pretty short. But when I got there, and she was done cutting my hair, she asked me if I liked it. I said I liked it, but I really didn't. I wanted it shorter.
Here is what it looked like before I got my haircut:
So after we left, I told my Mom it wasn't as short as I wanted it to be. So, she said we could go back the next day and get it cut a little bit shorter.......that was embarrassing!!
Here is what it looked like at the end (She said she cut off about 5 inches.) :
I like it MUCH better!

Our Bozeman Outing
Every week or so, we go to the "Big City" of Bozeman (Population 39,442). Our usual stops are: Costco, Wal*Mart, Salvation Army, Lowe's, Target, Michael's and Albertson's. My favorite stop is Costco (I love their samples!). ;) We always eat lunch there before we go shopping. We don't have two carts YET. :)
My brothers' favorite stop is Wal*Mart, because there are LEGOS!
Before we left to Bozeman, we had to go feed our horse, Woody ("Pecos Big Hollywood"). He is a Quarter Horse, and is 12 years old.
Here is Woody and His "Girlfriend" Ginger coming to get some grain. Ginger is our friend's horse staying here to keep Woody company.
We have had to break the ice off of the river, so they can drink their freezing cold water.
Fiona could have gone to the bathroom in ALL of these bathrooms we stopped at, but she chose to go when we were just about to get on the highway...I think her bottom was going to freeze off! It wasn't that cold, that her pee froze in mid-air. ;)

Ice skating on Cutler Lake
Yesterday, we went to Cutler Lake to go ice skating. We had tried a couple of times before, but we didn't make it because the roads were way too snowy. We were even in our 4 wheel drive Suburban!
My Dad and my brothers had gone out earlier in the day, (trying to get a bull elk head to put in the boy's room) and they called us and said that someone had plowed the road to Cutler Lake. They made it up the hill, although it was still a little bit icy, with my Dad's 2 wheel drive truck. So my Mom, Grandma, sister and I got in the Suburban and headed up there. We saw some antelope and mountain sheep on the way.
We made it up to Cutler Lake safely and we had a lot of fun! Even though it was only 10 degrees, the sun was out and it was a beautiful day.

Yellowstone Sightings From My Living Room Window
While we were doing homeschool and learning about Ancient Roman History, we saw four Yellowstone National Park wranglers chasing a herd of Buffalo back into the Park.
Then, behind the Buffalo we saw two wolves chasing a huge herd of elk with another herd of Antelope in the middle!
We went back to reading, when we spotted two big Bald Eagles flying over the Yellowstone River! It is pretty hard for them to see the fish under the water, because there are large ice chunks floating on the surface of the River. Electric Peak was behind them: http://www.coolworks.com/webcams/
As I am writing, I just saw our favorite little rabbit (Thumper) running across the top of the snow. One day my Dad came home, and he had a LITTLE brown bunny rabbit in his empty lunchbox. My Mom wouldn't let him stay, because she said it has "Rabies". So, we had to throw poor little Thumper out into the field. Now, he is all grown up.
There is alot of snow on the ground and it is REALLY cold! This morning when we woke up, it was
-13 degrees! But right now, it is 6 degrees, which is really cold when you go outside to take a picture with no mittens. ;)
This is a picture of Devil's Slide which is the view from our living room window. The tractor in the foreground belongs to my Great-Grandfather.
