On Sunday, March 6th, Becky and I went to Livingston to get the kitties spayed. It was in a school gym and it was for cats and dogs. There were three surgical tables at the end of the gym. There were three vets there too. When we got there, they said that they were working on number 5 and that we were number 22 and 23. Good thing Becky brought our knitting!
Here are Peanut Butter and Marmalade on the way to Livingston:
Here is the open gym where all the people are waiting for the cat and/or dog to wake up or have surgery.
After the kitties got their surgery, the owners have to try to wake them up out of their anesthesia. There were some "interesting" people there. ;) Some people take their pets very seriously! A few people told us to massage them (!) and to rub their noses and to touch their paws. I shook our kitties paws and held up their heads. It only took about five minutes for our kitties to wake up. Some people were surprised how quickly they came out of anesthesia! ;)
Becky said that she would take them home to her house for a few days to recuperate, because everything on the "don't do list" was at our house! Thank You, Becky!
They are so cute!!!!!
