My New Hat!

Today, Becky Kurtz and I finished my pink hat!! YAY! It is really cute. Becky and I decided that we are going to make a bunch of hats and scarves to sell at the Library Bazaar this November. I am really excited (Becky is going to make the hats and I am going to make the scarves)!

We are almost done!

While I was knitting my hat, Fiona was "helping" Becky knit her hat...;)

We're DONE!!!!

Yesterday, Bennett and Dad thought it would be a good time to clean out both chimneys, because they were getting clogged up with soot. So Dad went up on the roof with the Walkie Talkie and Bennett stayed inside (with a Walkie Talkie too) and pull on the chimney sweeper when Dad told him to. Afterward, his hands were all covered in black soot!

Matilda has been smiling a lot more than she used to. She sometimes smiles for nothing...but it is really cute when she does!

She also likes to sit up on the couch.  I like her "Chill Out" outfit! :)

Yesterday, we saw 6 elk out in the field. One of them had a spike (a young bull).  The horses tried to scare them off!

  1. Emma - I'm so incredibly impressed by your blog. The writing is engaging and the photos are beautiful! Wow. I'm proud to know you as one day I'm sure you will be a famous writer/photographer/reporter.... very impressive, young lady! I'm glad we have been there so we recognize all the places but you do a fantastic job of showing close up life and beautiful scenery. Your life looks like it's from a storybook. Good job!!!
