The MacDonald's Visit!

On July 1st, our cousins from Indianapolis came and stayed for a week. Aunt Julie and Uncle Mike drove from Indy to Idaho to visit Uncle Mike's family and then they headed for Seattle to drop Uncle Mike off at the Airport, since he had to go back to work in Indy. While they were in Seattle, they picked up Grandma and drove to our house to stay for a week before they returned to Indy.  We had a really good time!

Macy, Preston, Fiona and Wil (notice they are all wearing crocs!).

Macy on the rope swing.

Playing at the beach.

Bennett and Macy.

Grandma was eating yogurt and Tilly approached her, took the spoon from Grandma and started to eat the whole bowl of yogurt!

Aunt Julie, hanging up clothes on the line. :)

We went to the Livingston Roundup Parade on July 2nd.

Before the parade, we went to a memorial service for Dan's mom, Vicki. After the parade was over, we jumped back in the car and headed to the memorial dinner at Dan and Becky's house. :)

Imported salmon from B.C. :)

To get the BBQ started, they waved plate baskets over the fire. :) Montana style!

Wil, Fiona, Preston, Macy, Bennett and Silas digging through their parade candy.

Lots of people came from different states!

Aunt Mauray and Aunt Julie.

Macy and Sheridan (our second cousin from Colorado that came with Aunt Maryann and stayed in the "Cabana" for 5 weeks).

Mom, Tilly, Charis (Dan and Becky's daughter) and Eloise (Dan and Becky's granddaughter).

We went up to the Mammoth Terraces and walked around the boardwalks.

Grandma and some of the grandchildren.

Frankenstina!

We tried to walk the Beaver Ponds Trail, but when we got to the trail heading, there was a sign that said, "Bear Frequenting Area" and then the date that they last saw it....

July 2nd, 2012--the day before!!

We watched a wildlife video in the visitors center.

Silas fell asleep halfway through watching a movie on the iPad!

4th of July!!

We walked through the stores in Gardiner and we went into the "Wagon Wheel Trading Post" where our friend Dianne works. She gave us all free microscopes and wooden whistles!

Their new wooden whistles!

Aunt Julie treated Mom to a latte at the Yellowstone Perk!

We went to the school park and I played Pig with Grandma.

Our neighbor Jenny gave us some of her leftover buffalo and elk meatloaf and Bennett ate it all!

The rafts had American flags floating with them!

4th of July dinner...

We also played the card game Pig after dinner!

July 5th--Bennett's birthday.

Tilly loved the greek yogurt Grandma brought!

Opening a couple of presents....

Bennett's favorite dinner: Beef Stroganoff.

Peach Cobbler for dessert!!!

The sunset that night was gorgeous!

I help do trail rides at our friends, the Stermitz Ranch. IT IS SO MUCH FUN!!!!

On July 7th, the MacDonalds left for Indy. :(
