Leaving the Volunteer State :(

On April 29th, we left Memphis, TN. :'( After 3 really fun months (!) we headed for Indianapolis to see my Mom's other sister, Julie and her family. We said our very sad good-byes and hit the road....another long trip ahead of us. It was 465 miles from Memphis to Indy! After getting spoiled at the Koontzes house, it was pretty sad when we had to go back to road snacks: oreos, fruit snacks and animal crackers. :) But we made it to Indy in one piece after two days of driving. The first night, we stopped at the Mammoth Caves National Park to take the tour of the caves and spend the night at their campground. The campground was awesome and it was $17 dollars to stay there, but totally worth it! $17 dollars is a lot to spend at a campsite for us, because we are used to Walmart parking lots! :) But we liked the piece and quiet (usually semi trucks leave their generators on at Walmarts) and the tour was awesome!

Dad's finished masterpiece: the master bathroom!

The shower....with a glass door!

It was like a spa!

Dad did their fireplace too....

The 1/2 bath...

Goodbye living room!

Goodbye, house!

Sierra started balling the minute we said we were going to leave. :'(

Dakota and Fiona saying their fare-wells! :)

Sierra said, "I want to go with Fiona!". :)

When we hopped in the RV, Tilly stole Bennett's iPod! :)

We stopped at the National Corvette Museum in Bowling Green, KY. We got information
