On May 6th, we went to downtown Indianapolis to have a Sunday afternoon walk. It was so hot that day, that we had to go down to the Indianapolis Canal to get cooled off. Everybody walked up the Monument Tower (I didn't because of my sprained ankle). When we got to the canal, we soaked our feet in the cold water and then Aunt Julie gave us another portrait lesson. Mom, Dad and I were the models...it was fun! :)

The boys all got buzz cuts for the summer....
Dad built a whole new fence in their backyard for the MacDonald's while we were there. The Home Depot delivered fence material and all the kids watched with fascination as the delivery guy used the forklift to lift off the material. :)
The new fence....
...taking away the old fence.
Dad was so busy with the work, that he ate lunch outside on the sawhorses and fence material!
Macy got her award from AWANA!
Preston made a robot out of K'NEX.
Working on the fence....it was so hot! Good thing he was in the shade.
Dad built a fort for the kids out of old fencing material.
Finished!
